How does my daughter/son register for a league?
You can register online at www.thebrooksports.com, in person before or on May 16 from 2p-6p or May 23 from 2p-10p during player evaluations at THE BROOK SPORTS Gym from 10am-2pm. You may also complete form and mail payment to THE BROOK SPORTS Gym. 12512 Walters Road. Houston, Texas 77014.
What is the cost for a player to play in the league if per-registered?
[1 player -$100 per player] plus ( 1 time $20 jersey fee)
[2 players - $95 per player] plus ( 1 time $20 jersey fee)
[3 players - $90 per players] plus ( 1 time $20 jersey fee)
[4 players - $85 per player] plus ( 1 time $20 jersey fee)
[Late-Registration is $120 per player] plus ( 1 time $20 jersey fee)
What is the cost for a competitive team to play in the league?
[$1200 per team if pre-registered before May 15] and [$1300 per team for late-registration May 16 thru May 23]
Do all the teams use the same basketball?
K-1st Grade will use 28.5 basketballs. 6th-12th grade will use standand full size basketball.
What is the height of the basket?
Grades K-1st use an 8 ft. basket, 2nd-3rd use a 8.5 ft. basket, 4th-5th use a 9 ft. basket and Grades 6th-12th will use standard 10 foot basket.
Are uniforms provided?
There is a standard 1 time reversible jersey fee of $20. Player must keep jersey to keep from being charged again.
League Registration Information:
- Brook Sports Basketball League is for boys and girls from K – 12 grades: Recreation League is for Individual Players or Competitive is for Teams 3rd-12th grade already formed that want to sign up together.
- Pre-registration dealine is Saturday May 15 .
- All players have a 1 time $20 fee for the league jersey fee which can be used each season.
- Rereational Pre-registration league cost is $100 per player unless you have multiple players from the same family.
- Late-Registration is Sunday May 16 thru Sunday May 23.

Competitive Team Pre-registration cost is $1200 per team and $1300 per team for late-registration which includes jerseys.

Try-outs and Player Evaluations are on Sunday May 23 from 2p-10p at the times listed below.
- K-1st from 2pm-3pm
- 2nd-3rd from 3:15pm-4:15pm
- 4th-5th from 4:30p-5:30p
- 6th-7th from 5:45pm-6:45pm
- 8th-9th from 7pm-8pm
- 10th-12th from 8:15pm-9:15pm
- All players arriving late from 9:15pm-10pm
League Game and Practice Information
- All practices will begin on Friday June 11th at The Brook Sports Gym with a 45 minute develpomental practice session for K-5th before each game that will assisted by The Brook Sports Staff.
- Your coach will notify you by email or phone(after the draft on Thursday June 3) with game times and practice times.
- Team jerseys will be provided at your first game.
- Season will consist of 8-12 games and a end of the season tournament games.
